Gisela H. Davis

Gisela H. Davis, 82 years old of Battle Ground, passed away on Thursday, May 17, 2012 in Indiana University Health.

She was born on December 6, 1929 in Germany. On September 16,1953, she married Fred Davis in Lafayette. He preceded her in death.

Gisela worked as a nurses assistant for over 25 years at St. Elizabeth Hospital. She was a member of Kossuth Street Baptist Church. Gisela enjoyed crocheting, knitting, reading, and NASCAR.

Surviving are her children, Rev. Fred A. Davis (wife: Lisa) of Lafayette, Betty Porter (husband: Michael) of Battle Ground, and Vera Hornsby of Indianapolis. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, and several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
