Donald E. Forgey

Donald Eugene Forgey, 89, of Logansport, passed away at 9:02 a.m. Friday, June 15, 2012, in Chase Center.
Born March 4, 1923 in Logansport, Indiana, he was the son of the late Hugh D. and Ethel May Giffin Forgey. He was married August 8, 1942, in Logansport, to Frances Jean (Ferguson) Forgey, who survives.
A lifelong dairy farmer, Donald was a member of the Main Street United Methodist Church and the Indiana Farm Bureau.
Surviving with his wife are his children, David E. Forgey and his wife Helen, of Logansport, Judy Forgey, of Lafayette, Linda Billings and her husband Don, of Flora, and Bill Forgey and his wife Susan, of Huntington , IN; one brother, Herbert Forgey and his wife Agnes, of Logansport; and one sister, Joy Goltry, of Logansport; six grandchildren; and twelve great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one granddaughter.
Funeral Information
A memorial services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, June 20, 2012 at Main Street United Methodist Church with Pastor Tom DeFries officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the services at the church.
Interment, at a later date, will follow in the Ever Rest Memorial Park, Logansport.
