Michael L. Allen, 60, passed away peacefully in his sleep, Aug. 5, 2010.
Mike was born Aug. 6, 1949, to Everett and Clara (Reed) Allen in Decatur, IL. He graduated from Eisenhower High School, Decatur, IL, in 1967.
Surviving is his daughter, Lara (Allen) Jude, and grandchildren Nicholas and Emily Jude, in West Lafayette, IN, grandson Michael Allen in Sidney, IL, brother Edward Allen, La Grange, GA, and former wife and great friend, Andrea (Kincaid) Allen. Mike was preceded in death by his son, Michael, a brother, and his parents.
Mike was a self employed business owner dealing with automobiles. He was an avid enthusiast of classic cars, hot rods, motorcycles, hunting, Nascar, Chicago Bears, playing cards, his time in southern Illinois, and enjoying life!
He was loved by many, and will be missed by all.
Funeral Information
The family would like to invite everyone to attend a celebration of Mike's life on Sunday, Sept. 5 at 1 PM at Debbie's Diner, in Decatur, IL. If you own a classic car, hot rod, or motorcycle- please drive them to this celebration in honor of Mike.
