Paul William Parkinson

Paul William Parkinson, 79, of Logansport, passed away at 2:00 p.m. Friday, May 5, 2017, in his home.

Born February 17, 1938, in Martinsburg, West Virginia, he was the son of the late Paul Peyton and Alice (Flemming) Parkinson.

On November 12, 1963, in Martinsburg, West Virginia, he was married to Nancy (Reidell) Parkinson.  She preceded him in death September 24, 2011.

Paul was a building contractor. As the owner of SVN Building Company, he built several beautiful custom homes around the Logansport community.

Paul served in the U.S. Air Force. He was a member of the New Life Alliance Church.  Paul also belonged to the Veterans of Foreign Wars and the Logansport Elks Lodge.

Surviving are one daughter, Paula Bennett, of Logansport; one son James (Rose) Daniels, of Inwood, West Virginia; two granddaughters, Megan Bennett, of Logansport and Jamie Ann, of West Virginia and one brother, Charles (Judy) Parkinson of West Virginia.

He was preceded in death by two daughters, Myra Gale and Tina Marie Parkinson, one sister, Ruth Lawson; and one brother Arnold Parkinson.

 

Funeral Information

Private family services were held.

Cremation was entrusted to Fisher Funeral Chapel & Cremation Services.
