John Warner, 79, of Logansport, passed away in his home Saturday, July 7, 2012, at 2:30 p.m.

Born June 25, 1933, in Winamac, Indiana, he was the son of Lawrence and Opal Burns Warner. In 1952, in Gary, Indiana, he was married to Rose Mullendore, who preceded him in death.

John proudly served in the United States Army during the Korean War and was the recipient of a Purple Heart.

He was retired from Alpha Industries.
