Obituary for Bertha A. Hoch

Bertha A. Hoch, 80, of Logansport, passed away Tuesday, August 14, 2018, at Miller’s Merry Manor.

Born September 11, 1937, in Logansport, she was the daughter of the late John and Catherine (Grassmyer) Zieder.

On October 20,1956, in Grace Chapel in Logansport, she was married to Robert Hoch, who preceded her in death April 5, 2006.

Bertha loved spending time with family and going out for coffee with friends. She also enjoyed hanging out with her dog, Buddy.

Surviving are daughter, Wendy Steel and her husband Tom, Kewanna; son, Donald Hoch; two granddaughters, Jennifer (Nick) Savini, and Krystal (Barak) Ingram; one great-granddaughter, Kate Elizabeth Miller. and one great-granddaughter, Aevyn Grace Ingram, on the way.

She was preceded in death by four sisters, six brothers, and one infant sibling.

A funeral service celebrating Bertha’s life will be held 2 p.m. Thursday, August 16 at Fisher Funeral Chapel with Jacob Fisher officiating.

Burial will follow at Ever Rest Memorial Park.

A visitation will be held prior from 11 a.m. until the time of the service
