Obituary for Jesse Boehme

Jesse Boehme, 17, Camelot Care Center, Logansport, passed away at 10:32 p.m. Sunday, June 24 at the Riley Hospital for Children, Indianapolis.

Born December 17, 2000, in Lafayette, he was the son of Kathy (Benn) Boehme and the late Mark Boehme.

Jesse had been a student at Fairview School. For the past year, he resided at Camelot and experienced many fun activities with new friends and their loving staff.

Jesse attended Refuge Worship Center. He loved music. He talked with his eyes and his contagious smile could light up a room. He had the most beautiful red hair - people were drawn to it and they would run their fingers through it - and Jesse would just grin at all the attention.

Surviving are his mother, Kathy Boehme, Peru; two brothers, Peyton and Cody Allen, Peru; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

A funeral service celebrating the life of Jesse Boehme will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, June 28 in Fisher Funeral Chapel with Pastor David Payton officiating.

Burial will follow in Ever-Rest Memorial Park.

Friends will be received one hour prior to the service in the funeral chapel.

Memorial contributions may be made to assist the family.
