Obituary for Marietta Mann

Marietta Mann, 81, of Lafayette, died Sunday, July 22, 2018 at Rosewalk Village, Lafayette.

Marietta was born on July 27, 1936 in Benton County to the late Lisle and Edith Sturgeon Nattinger.

She graduated from Boswell High School in 1954.

On December 9, 1956, Marietta was married to Gerald "Jerry" Mann in Lafayette. He preceded her in death on September 18, 2000.

Marietta worked as a clerk for K-Mart for 27 years and in the 60's she worked for Loeb's.

She was a member of the Women of the Moose and she was a Past President.

Marietta enjoyed bowling, cards, and games with her family and friends and she tore Rosewalk up in Bingo.

Surviving are her daughters, Dianna (Thomas) Velten of Lafayette, Tammy (Terry #1) Dowden of Crawfordsville, Denise Mann of Lafayette, and Sharon (Diane) Mann-Peterson of Deltona, FL. Also surviving are 6 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her brother, Ronnie Nattinger.

A visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. on Tuesday, July 24, 2018 at Fisher Funeral Chapel. A funeral service celebrating Marietta's life will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, July 25, 2018 at Fisher Funeral Chapel with Pastor Joey Wright officiating. Burial will follow at Tippecanoe Memory Gardens.

Memorial Contributions may be made to the Moose Heart in memory of Marietta. Envelopes will be available at the funeral chapel.
