Obituary for Marjorie Grace Ramirez

Marjorie 'Margie' Grace Ramirez 79, went to Heaven on December 15, 2017 at Santa Rosa Westover Hills Hospital in San Antonio, Texas.

Born on September 3,1938, she was the daughter of the late Elvie and Hazel Mae (Carter) Ingle.

Margie was a 1956 graduate of Lafayette Jeff High School.

After 25 years of service, Margie retired from Lafayette Bottled Gas.

A woman of strong faith who loved the Lord, Margie devoted 40 years teaching Sunday School classes to children. She enjoyed vacationing with her family and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who she lovingly called 'her angels.'

She married Armando 'Andy' Ramirez in 1969 and he preceded her in death on July 5, 2012.

Surviving are four daughters, Kathy Trevino(Joe) of Beeville, TX, Eliza Anderson(John),of Cary, NC, and Bea Figueroa (Doug Speaks) and Lisa Bolinger( David), all of Lafayette; four step-sons, Sam Ramirez(Linda) and Bob Ramirez, all of Lafayette, Andy Ramirez Jr.(Donna) of Dallas, TX, and Ralph Ramirez (Claudia) of Monticello; three brothers, Gordon Ingle, Marvin Ingle, and Larry Ingle, all of Lafayette; one sister, Carol Ewing, Lafayette; and her beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one sister, one step-son, and one step-granddaughter.

Funeral Information

Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday, December 20, 2017 in Fisher Funeral Chapel, Lafayette.

A Funeral Service celebrating Margie's life will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, December 21, 2017 in Fisher Funeral Chapel with Pastor Ed Underwood officiating. Burial will be in Tippecanoe Memory Gardens.
