Obituary for Virgil L. Grace

Virgil L Grace, 86, Logansport, passed away at 11:55 a.m. Monday, March 5, 2018, in his residence

Born October 7, 1931, in Wabash, he was the son of the late Virgil and Nina (Gordon) Grace.

Virgil was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving in France during the Korean War from 1952 to 1954. He was retired from Muelhausen Spring Company. After retirement Virgil worked in construction. In his free time, Virgil enjoyed working on his 1979 Caprice Classic and attending antique car shows.


Surviving are his children; Tammy Hinman of Logansport, Windy Grace of Logansport, Virgil Jr. (Maria) Grace of Royal Center, and Shane Grace of Logansport, several grandchildren and great grandchildren

He was preceded in death by two sisters, Madaline Fultz and Wilma Teasley; and grandson, Justin Perry.

A funeral service celebrating Virgil’s life will be held at Thursday March 8th, 2018 at 1p.m. in Fisher Funeral Chapel with Wanda Willis officiating.

Burial will follow in Davis Cemetery. Full military honors will be accorded to Virgil by active duty members of the U.S. Army, the Cass County Honor Guard and the Indiana Patriot Guard.

Friends will be received from 11 a.m. until the time of the service in the funeral chapel.
