Frances E. Neff, 85,Logansport, passed away at 2:30 p.m. Monday, June 18, 2018, in Miller's Merry Manor.

Frances was a 1952 graduate of Logansport High School. After 43 years of service, she retired from White Rodgers (formerly RBM/United Tech) where she had worked as an inspector. A longtime member of the New Life Alliance Church, she loved working with children. She helped with the church's Pioneer Club and served as a Sunday School teacher for over 40 years. She was a devoted supporter of the Samaritan's Purse project, crocheting gifts for their annual Operation Christmas Child. Frances loved to read. She also had a very fun collection of "everything cows." A kid at heart herself, she and her late husband enjoyed volunteering at the Cass County Carousel.

She is survived by three children: , James T. (Lydia) Neff, Tennessee, Rebecca A. (Terry) Myers, Delphi, and Timothy A. (Cindy) Neff, Walton; one brother, Carl Fairchild, Jr., Arkansas; two sisters, Anna Mae Lawson, South Bend, and Sylvia (Jim) Somsel, Logansport; eight grandchildren: Christopher (Aisyah) Neff, Carolyn Neff, Scot (Erica) Gaby, Jennifer (Jed) Myers, Hanna (Matthew) Anderson, Lauren (James) Price, Andrew (Allison) Myers and Benjamin Neff; and great-grandchildren: Jackson Darland, Michael Neff, Carlin Price, Amelia Myers, Isaac and Alayna Anderson and their baby sister Arabella, due in September, Chloe and Emma Gaby and their baby brother Ethan due soon, and Cooper and Colson Myers.

She was preceded in death by one great-granddaughter and two sisters, Eva Oen and Clara Jane Somsel.
